step 3 is takin the skills test you're gonna have to prove you can identify a lotta parts on the truk n maybe pullr and legal limits for the parts and/or how exactly you can determine they are in a legal condition then you'll need to do a airbrake test which shouldn't be hard just dont be an idiot and follow the test takers instructions and dont fuck up this one can nail you with one fuck up
then ull have to demonstrate prob 3 backing manoovers which will pron def be backing up in a straight line and then 2 of 3, being a 90° alley dock, a parallel park, and the third has a name i forgot but it's when you gotta move the rig over one spot from its starting point. theyre all easy but you def need practice but a good teachr will point out where you need to have your landing gears in relation to how they look in your mirrors. the hardest is the alley dock but mostly cuz you need to get the distance right. i was warned they'll get pissed if they see me counting so i just got used to how many strides it takes me to cover 15', split the difference, had a big loogie in my mouth, and spit a fat one on the ground on the walk back to the tractor. worked like a charm lel. they gonna give you 2 or 3 opportunities to get out of the truk and look at your positioning for each of the manuver tests.
finally its a drive test so just drive the dang thang and dont break the law. prob gonna have you do an "emergency stop" at a safe place just to prove you aint to dumb to do one, theyll ask what you're doing when they get you to do that and you just gotta tell em. maybe a shit test where he gonna ask about a sign a mile or two back, maybe a height clearance sign or maybe something else, basically to prove your paying attention. prob gonna ask what you do when you get to train tracks. at this point just use your damn turn signals and drive like you aren't an idiot and you'll pass tbphwyb.
test on a truk with a standard transmission. testing in an automation restricts your ability to drive only automatics.

try like resetting the computers sometimes by turning the key to the on position 3 times before cranking, others you can do it by removing the key from ignition for a bit of time like twenty seconds iirc but some might be a lot longer, or even cut the battery connection entirely and reconnect it (if you got a switch for that its ezpz) and that might help reset the computers so you can get where you need to go. man that shit is shit its just GARBAGE and you know what def actually is?? piss and water. look it up. piss + water. fuckin hat def and its consequences.
